Just thought id post this up since it aint on here yet, i just ripped it off blabbermouth couldnt be bothered to re type it lol

Punishment 18 Records' latest signing, UK thrashers Pitiful Reign, are about to go into the studio to record their debut album.

Scheduled for release in the early part of this year, titled "Visual Violence," and with artwork created by Ed Repka (Megadeth, Death, Municipal Waste), the band are pleased to be able to announce that

the album is to be engineered and produced by Steve DiGiorgio ( Sadus, ex-DEATH, ex-TESTAMENT, ex-ICED EARTH) and Juan Urteaga (VILE, who produced Exodus, Testament and Sadus amongst many others).

Nev Britton, spokesperson for PITIFUL REIGN said

"... to have our debut release engineered by 2 of our heroes is a great honour. We have already met up with Steve on a recent trip to Milan and we cannot wait to begin working with them both."

Visual Violence will be released on Punishment !8 Records in April 2008.

Has DiGiorgio produced anything before? I'm intrigued by the meaning of the title too...

cheers guy where well stoked about this, cant wait to get it out now!

we never released that with the intention of it been an album more just a demo which we sent out to labels to try and get signed. Some reviews called it an album but it was never released, we just sold it on our site and at gigs.

Theres a lot of meaning behind the title, and the art work is based around this concept as well, i will explain more when the artworks released!
