I just heard Air Raid sirens, went outside and still heard them. I went to check the TV (no radio) if anything was happening and nothing, then the sirens stop.

Scared the living shit out of me... wheel me to the Sanitarium please.

Well it kinda sucks that Plymouth is in like the top 5 targets in the UK. If there's an alert, you follow it..

At least I live near the epicentre and would die quickly.

I live 30 miles down the coast from a massive nuclear power station... (can see it from just up my hill) I think I'd be worried if I heard air raid sirens!!!

Adam, have you found out why you heard the sirens yet? that's a pretty weird thing to hear!

I'm guessing it's the Dockyards testing their system out as I live pretty close to them now, but who knows, many one of my neighbours has one in their garden or something..

There's a house opposite me that has a house alarm like an air raid siren, it used to go off for two days at a time, fucking annoying. But no, there isn't a war, sorry.
