Death Metal recommendations

Postby terrorizer on Tue Apr 22, 2008 6:33 pm

Anyone care to shout up some decent new (i.e. in the last few years) Death Metal? I like fast and brutal stuff but not with the really really low vocals that sound like a bowel movement.

Cheers!

The last Deicide album (Stench of Redemption) was a modern classic.
Origin
Vital remains' last 2 albums
I'm going to say Necrophagist too even though they don't meet any of your criteria!

Fast - Kataklysm
Brutal - Vader

What I heard from the new Grave, was great !

Ah yeah Braindrill are sick, lame they've lost the drummer though because his skill pretty much made the band for me. Malevolent Creation are lovely also, don't know if they've been mentioned. I'd say listen to the Crown if you haven't before either, Deathrace King is one of my favourite albums, they're not in the same category as the others I've mentioned in this but they're bloody good.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
