I found the Events link, but it only shows 1 recently created event... pretty damn useless.

If someone has one of those portable beatbox type CD players that would be cool, though things that play mp3s would obviously be more convenient.

OK for some reason my postingness fudged up yesterday.... Basically I have a cd player (£15 from Argos) that I think can take batteries aswell, but it is a bit bulky and cannot support mp3 players, so I'd rather not bring it if it can e avoided, although if need be I can bring it.

I can supply batteries if that would help with a docking station???

Unfortunately it has an internal battery that you recharge - but if anyone has normal battery powered speakers that can plug into an iPod, please bring.

Ah yeah, it's in that side menu now - I'm sure it wasn't a few days ago though. How utterly naff.

Anyway, 5 days to go WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I won't be able to make this. I'll be in London for three hours tomorrow though, if anyone wants to have a mini-anniversary with me and hopefully Bill. No?

Two days to go until the Hyde Park gathering, and everything is looking goooooooood!

A few final points:

- London is supposed to be sunny all day on Saturday, which should be splendid - don't dress for summer though; it is bound to get more chilly in the evening, especially under the tree clump!

- BUY BOOZE IN ADVANCE! As we found last time, it is a real pain to find off-licences or even supermarkets in this part of London, so stock up before you head out, or you will be doing a lot of walking to find supplies.

- There is no guaranteeing we will be in the exact location indicated by the Event maps (or even that they were drawn accurately), so again, make sure you have contact details of VARIOUS people whose attendance is confirmed...

My mobile is 07769818830: RING me if you're totally lost, I may not have enough credit left if I have to fire off loads of directions by text.

- I still haven't had any solid replies about other people bringing sound systems!! If possible, please bring portable speakers compatible with ipods, otherwise we will run out of battery power within about 4 hours and that would be a total flop.

- If anyone fancies bringing along extra blankets to sit on that would be awesome; I will probably bring a couple, but they will barely accomodate 10 people. The same applies for snacks - feel free to contribute to the junk food apocalypse! I will be bringing some black bin bags so we don't leave Hyde Park looking like Armageddon - if we all try to clear up after ourselves, that would be excellent.

- We will probably linger in the park until it gets too dark and cold, but people seem to be planning various things to move onto afterwards. I'm not sure how late I can stay due to screwed up train services, but one option is to head to the Purple Turtle where Jamie is engineering for some blackened thrash/death bands.

REMEMBER - get to the park AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE - if you drift along at 5pm then you'll probably find you'll be leaving again within about 2 hours. Me and Craig will be there from at least 12pm, so if you fancy coming along at the start and setting up the picnic den with us, then please aim for around midday!

See you on Saturday!

P.S. Here is another version of the location map - head for the rough vicinity shown here, after arriving at Hyde Park Corner tube. In other words, head straight into the park, turn left at the band-stand and follow the long path that runs along the Serpentine lake - with any luck we will be in a tree clump on your right. The place is a lot bigger than it might look on the map, so if you think you've walked too far, you probably haven't!

Also ive never been to Hyde park...how big is it actually? Cause my mind kinda conjurs up this image where i walk in and look around and should be able to see everything...i imagine thats not the case.... I still dont understand how like zurab got lost and stuff lol.

Well if i do come down i will be down at like 12ish through to say 4 or 5. But due to money i dont think i can afford it :(

It's massive, the route above is probably at least a 15 minute walk, and that's not even half of the park. But if you make Hyde Park Corner tube station your starting point and follow the route above, it should be fairly easy to locate us. Hope you can make it!

But i wanna come down for a few hours at the very least....now where is my small coolbag...want my beer to stay atleast a little cold...
