I watching South Park the movie on DVD the other day (which incidentally was unbelievably brilliant, I hadn't seen it for a good few years!), and at the end one of the FACT copyright adverts came up. Now I remember the good old days when you'd put on a video and that blue screen would come up and the man would say 'FACT - if this video is copied, phone this number please, thanks very much'. On this one - which, keep in mind, is a few years old, the newer ones are even worse - the man was saying 'Pirating funds drugs! Criminals! It funds terrorism! Don't do it for good's sake!' And it actually made me a little bit angry, as it was just another example of how ridiculous the world has become, and that people think they need to cry 'Terrorism!' to make us scared of everything all the time. It's like a constant fear the media are trying to put into our minds all the time, even on fucking pirate dvd warnings!

I know this sort of thing is nothing new to anyone, but I thought I'd mention it as I'm bored at the moment and need to do some work.

I tried that once but didn't get much further than the "violently buttfuck you" bit before my night was brought to a swift and painful end.
