Re: Ambient Music
What is ambiant music? Anyone post a good reccomendation...when you say ambiant music my mind thinks of either cheesy elevator music that you get in american action movies for a cheap awkward laugh
and then like the ocean or some wildlife....im guessin its not the same
How similar is this to that post/prog rock stuff, no singing, slow buildups, weird time changes, weird progressions

Sorry music has to be going somewhere for me. Not really my cuppa.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

was listening to some crazy ambient music at my mates house, apparantly you're supposed to sleep to this stuff we were listening to... it was weird... wish i could remember what it was called!
Godspeed definitely aren't ambient! They shatter your brain with complete emotional journeys of madness. Ambient music is just nice and lovely, Godspeed is amazing madness.

Re: Ambient Music
I listen to a bit of dark ambient now and again. Stuff like INADE, ENDURA, DECORYAH, ELEND, VOND and best of all, ABRUPTUM.
Its great to just lie in the dark and listen too, none of this wishy washy ambient stuff though, it has to be sort of disturbing to give a good effect.
