OK!

Some great things have been happening in the UKT world recently, the Toxic Tapes and the ever-raging Jamie have brought new life into our little party.
I feel inspired to do some more for this community, the forum is good for many things but would be better if we all had real life events that we could talk about on here.

Here is some stuff we could do, feel free to add ideas!

More gathering things, King Diamond Day is always fun but there could be more. Southies hang, Northies hang, all hang!

Recruit some new troops for the forum, new blood is always fun.

Flyer people.

I don't know, I'm just rambling, sorry! But you know what I'm saying.

Also, there were talks of a big party thing. It would be fun for ALL of us to meet up and get smashed, in a field or something. ALL of us.

ive had an idea for a bonestorm 2 kinda event at the back of my mind for a while now.

basically this time to hire a pub room with a large t.v and do a screening of the EPIC uncut region 1 version of the rare:2019:after the fall of new york.(Carl and the Gama Bomb lads can vouch for it being amazing if no1 believes me )
itd be similar to the sf2 contest ie:all meet in the afternoon somewhere in central london at a pub room,then order a few beers,pull up a chair,watch the film,hang at the bar after then maybe go to another pub or a gig.

but yeah,post apocalyptic films rule and im sure a few might be up for it.

I think we should all go to Italy and eat loads of pizza, personally. Or failing that, London will have to do. But yeah, that's good idea. We should all go out for a fancy meal, that would be hilarious. I don't know why. I just like food.

I'm visiting relatives over New Year, but otherwise I would have been up for a lovely meal, a lovely film, or even a big field gathering

I'm totally behind the sentiment of this thread though, I personally could promote the forum a lot more than I have since it started. There are always people at the gigs who are total ragers but (as far as I know) are not forumers. I'm going to look into some proper flyers in January, for one thing.

Also, more gatherings really need to happen. In terms of London I am in every Tuesday like I said, although that's not best for everyone and it's not the ideal night to get 'under the influence'. I was excited about the discussions a while back to have a forum holiday, and I still think the most realistic option is all gather somewhere in the UK, whether for camping or a hired house or whatever, so the maximum number of people can afford it and get there.

But yes, this place has a source of joy for me and we should all meet up as often as we can to celebrate thrash and us brought together by it.
