Any contacts for gigs in Huddersfield as i appear to have none which is quite frankly ridiculous as i only live over't hill. Either that or is anyone able to sort us out with a gig? Much obliged

Not really anywhere in huddersfield, the two main alterative pubs seam more interested in the punk and ska scene, saying that they have had some metal gigs, but many. try contacting bar1twenty they might have some gigs, best best if for wakefield's snooty fox

It's a shame that the metal scene in huddersfield is now officially DEAD. Sure there's a few bands around and plenty of metalheads. But no venues or promoters for it.

I tried to sort us a gig at the west riding on a number of occasions but it's just impossible to get a gig there now unless you're Evile or not metal, and bar120 is more indie and hardcore oriented with the odd metal band thrown in for good measure.

So yeah... we're playing at Bar 1 Twenty on 29th January, so anybody local get your ass there haha.

Kilgore: I was thinking maybe we could gig with you guys sometime seeing as you're pretty close to us? although it looks like it'd have to be in Bradford rather than Huddersfield .

We had a gig booked at Bar 1/20 last year but we had to cancel because the promoter was a jumped up emo cunt who was fucking us around.

Yeah dude we had planned on asking you guys to play anyway lol, if i cant sort owt i'll just do it at the snooty instead.

Lets get both bands to play at the lockwood and look for another metal band to play. I guess i will have to look into it

Could always try that I suppose, although nobody seems arsed to go down there cause it's quite far from the town centre and requires a bus journey unless you're like me and like walking places lol.
