I don't think you get what they're offering. They're not asking for tickets back, they haven't even been sent out yet. If you bought a ticket through an official ticket agency, you have two choices:

1) Send off for a refund and get full cost of the ticket back.
2) Pay the money and get the ticket to keep as a souvenir (or more likely, to sell in 5 years at 10 times what you paid for the original ticket).

I can't see that myself, 50 dates * the capacity of the venue.... Not exactly a small number. It's a cop out Craig.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

it's not exactly a good offer anyways.... money back or a piece of paper that 500,000 other people might have for a gig that isnt even gonna happen... pwnd

Its only because of what happened when Kurt Cobian killed himself and NME reported that the tickets were going for £200 at a time.

People are greedy and some people are just gullible.

thing is with Cobain, it's not like they had 50 gigs booked at the O2 arena :P

I know, and i'm not either of them, it's good to have a slightly distanced viewpoint when it comes to things like this!

He sounds that good because he's miming! In most of the footage I've seen he always does a bit of miming when he's dancing, and then he sings for real when he's doing a bit of adlibbing. I wouldn't have cared though, to see him dancing in real life would've been magical enough.

Fair. Would be nice to see him singing the bigger songs. Im sure he will do on the rehearsal at some point.

I saw him twice in the 1980s Dangerous, and History tours, I think,

and I tell you, I have NEVER heard anyone who sang so perfectly in pitch and tune.

He was amazing

I find the new released footage just makes it all the more upsetting that he died

Even walking through the routines, he looks bloody good

Hahaha, that was amazing! I saw one of these ages ago with Hitler going bonkers because he was told Killzone 2 was the best FPS ever and better than Halo 3. This is indeed from Downfall, I have that film and it's amazing. The best thing ever was when me and my friend Paul got really stoned and watched that scene without any subtitles on. It was so bloody hilarious.

I obviously don't know for sure, but it sounded too perfectly like the original to be anything but mimed really. On the footage I have seen of him miming, on various awards shows and other clips on youtube, it's pretty obvious because he's pretty bad at it!! He tends to sometimes forget to hold the microphone up and things like that, and when he does real singing it really does sound very different. It doesn't surprise me though, I think it's nearly impossible for someone to dance like that and sing perfectly at the same time, even for someone as almost superhuman as Michael Jackson.
