Many wise words have already been said about how great this event was, and how many killer sets there were! I agree that all bands rocked it hard - Hallowed Point were a lot better than I expected and had a great vocalist, Amok were really charismatic and impressive, Jon's appearance with Dr Death was one of the most crazy and funny things ever, and he also did an excellent job of sounding like Mark Shelton! Props to Rich for the masks and hammers - that hammer pit was an insane sight!

Raging Paul's final set with Mutant was a triumphant departure, and I thought his vocals were ace in Psycho Surgery (despite the low mic stand). I'm sure he will be missed but Mutant will keep on improving - perhaps they have been incubating a replacement bassist in a test tube, and he/she/it is finally ready to hatch? Also: THE RAUNCHER!!

It was great to return to the stage with Deceptor, it was the most enjoyable gig I've ever played and it was good to showcase some new songs! We bought a mixdown CD of the set, although probably should have opted to mix it ourselves as it is very rhythm section heavy! But maybe some of the clips will make their way onto Myspace.

Three cheers for Jamie anyway - and three cheers for the UK thrash scene!

I didn't get back to Reading until 9AM on Sunday morning!!!!! Oopsies.

Got a cab to Paddington, got on my train, got woken up 2 hours later in BRISTOL!!! Trains were finished so I had to sleep outside, it was so absolutely bloody freezing and horrible and I hated it. Got a train back in the morning and luckily woke up before Reading, went back and enjoyed Metallica last night, they are actually a brilliant live band. Oh yeah and bristol is a shit hole.

Anyway, yeah I'm annoyed I had to leave early, was an amaaaayzing day and I would have loved to stay til the end, may aswell have done! Amok were my highlight, seriously so good, all the other bands that I saw were top notch too, So good. Nice to meet you all again.
