Actually, you stand corrected Immort - the tracklisting is as follows

1. Power from Hell (Bloodbrawl)
2. Thermonuclear Devastation of the Planet Earth (Kemakil)
3. Angels of Death (Thrashist Regime)
4. Steel Meets Steel (Blood Tsunami)
5. Witch Hunt (Vindicator)
6. Let There Be Death (Em Ruinas)
7. Metal Forces (Acral Necrosis)
8. Fight With the Beast (Warmaster)
9. Demoniac (Whiplash IRL)
10. Flame of the Antichrist (Kemakil)
11. In Search of Sanity (Hospital of Death)
12. Shellshock (Warpath)
13. Lightning War (Vindicator)
14. Blood Upon the Ice (????)
15. Power Play (David J. Gibbs)
16. Burn
17. Killing Peace (Bloodbrawl)
18. Destroyer of Worlds (Warmaster)
19. Planting Seeds of Hate (Whiplash IRL)
20. Shock and Awe (Warpath)

I'm in discussions with Exumer about them recording Burn, but no confirmation on it yet. Its being left blank until I get a definite yes or no. As for Blood Upon the Ice, I'm in talks with a few bands about taking that up. Though I personally think Covet Chaos should do it

Looking into distirbution possibilites too. Check the MySpace page for details. Speaking of which, Thrashist Regime's cover of Angels of Death is up, should have Metal Forces up sometime this week and Thermonuclear/Flame of the Antichrist will both be up around December 15th-ish. I know that Whiplash have completed their songs, but I'm yet to get them. Same goes for Acral Necrosis, they have Metal Forces up on their page but since my email is down I need them to upload it to Megaupload or Mediafire :(

Aye go for it. You have months yet so it shouldn't really impose on anything you have planned.

Aye about the forums - since I can't access my emails at the moment, is there any way ye could get someone to retrieve it for me and sent it me through MySpace/UKGash? I miss my forum *sniff*

 But yeah seriously though, I haven't been able to log in for ages so thats why theres a lack of any activity on the 'Slaught board.

is it right that evile are doing a track on the new judas priest tribute CD? I heard you were coveriing jawbreaker :D

hahahahahaha. best one yet.

This tribute is cool, but sorry, I just can't enjoy Lightning War. It NEEDS the off beat drums, not just constant on beat It sounds like the vocalist/guitarists expewct it to be off beat and it creates a mash of sound. Also those vocals might fit Vindicator's style, but they killed one of my favourite Onslaught songs. Good playing though.

well this is what i said about the very same song a few weeks ago on the slaught forum
"i have to say i really dont rate that version of lightning war!! The vocals are out of time and the opening riff doesnt sound right, almost as if it was too hard for them to nail properly, which if so, they should have let another band do that track who could!!!
Also, although this is not a criticism, but more of a self indulgence, i would have liked to see the original songs intro put back on in the cover version!"
