Well the thread was initially about a air guitar being on egay.

The auction had been taken down before I got to it. You should have named your response after the thread to avoid confusion.

Can't be arsed to read the whole thread so here's my input:

1. I hated Sound Control. Fuck them. I've voiced my opinions in another thread. I do still feel sorry for all the people who turned up to work only to find that the locks had been changed though.

2. What I heard was that the RBS pulled their 49% share. You can imagine the issues this would cause. I think the reason this has affected the whole instrument retail industry is because other banks have seen what the RBS have done and decided that there must be a good reason for it, and followed suit. I still don't know why they pulled their share.

I'd get down there in the next 11 days if any of you have any sense. If you don't know if your local shop's open or not, I assume the six on the site are the only ones that are open, but call in business hours to ask an innocuous question like "How much is an SM57?" or "What time are you open till?".

Sorry if any of that's been said already.

My local shop, despite being one of the ones that was kept open, is now closed. I hated the place too but I'll just need to start keeping a stock of stings etc.
