So yeah, that's suprising - Brand has resigned from the BBC after they both got suspended for their naughty actions. Opinions?

Personally, I think what they did was massively misjudged, bit silly, bit funny, but.. silly. Poor old man..uel. Probably an overreaction by the BBC - the slag is just in it for the money and apparantley, Manuel was fine with it before the bloody Daily Mail brought it up again and, well, he probably believes them more or something. I've also heard he did want it cut from the show and the editor left it in, so.. talking points...

I don't really find Ross or Brand that funny, so I'm not really bothered about them leaving. But if anyone says this is a good reason to abolish the license fee, I'll start crying. GO.

I hate Brand, he is just annoying and to tell a grandfather about his granddaughter's sex life is just wrong.

I hate them both so... Mr Ross has never made me laugh. I used to hate watching him on his Friday night show. They were not interviews at all, it was just so unfunny.

I listened to it and found it pretty amusing... I think it's totally ridiculous that it's headline news, let alone worth resigning over. Nonetheless, I don't think it will do anything but boost the careers of most involved (except maybe the editor who broadcast it)

to be honest, i dont think it is what they did that is the main point here. Watching the news tonight, they all seem to be saying it is just an example of how broadcasting has become of late. Going for the shock factor more and more, to the point where insults and offensive behaviour is becoming more commonplace.

I'm all up for that.

I find Brand to be both effeminate and unfunny but this is so out of control. I mean, the bitch is fucking dog-ugly any way. It was blatantly meant in jest as even I would think twice about putting my cock in that... thing. From what I believe, no one knew or cared about the whole thing until the story was picked up and made headline news.

Incidentally, why did Brand walk? If it was because he was refusing to apologise for something that he thought was funny but not many other people did, then I think he's gained a lot of credibility.

He wasn't refusing to apologise, because he did so. You use "effeminate" as an insult (presumably), and yet look at your signature!

To be honest, I don't think Brand's career will be hampered in the least by packing in a radio show he happened to do with BBC - this will only make other networks want him more.
