MASS EXTINCTION looking for UK dates

Postby No Thrash? No Cash! on Fri Jun 06, 2008 5:55 pm

Hey folks, as the thread title says. We (Mass Extinction) are looking for dates across the water and bringing over UK bands over here to for gigs around Ireland. For those of you that have never been over, we have quite a great scene here especially in Dublin and Cork. If your band is interested and can sort us out with a couple of gigs around the UK in return then get in touch.

We replaced our drummer in Feb last year and that set us back a few months. We were lucky enough to find an amazing drummer quickly enough but we wanted him to be totally comfortable with the stuff so we let him rework some of the material. We recorded the "Creation's Undoing" e.p. and released it in October and have been writing new material since. We have enough brand new material for a full length and hope to record and release our debut album before the end of the year (with the backing of a good label hopefully).

The drummer change knocked us off the rails a bit but we are stronger than ever now. I can assure you the new stuff is ferocious and a bit more technical without losing the viciousness

I remember the drummer change but that was about it. Good to hear you're back on track.

I`ve just talked about that label thing to some really old hand in the Thrash business - after that, I would say "shit" right now...!

The actual Thrash wave produces a lot of shitty business - and many bands will fuck off through that, sadly..!
