Steve is pretty much my favourite person ever now, this morning we found him passed out in the front seat of his car with the door open, the key in the ignition and a bunch of burn marks on his shirt.
Bloody brilliant.

Haha, ahhahahahahahahahah. Steveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedottwooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
"How do you know that?, wait come back over here, come back!"
"Should i drive over? i mean it is only a little way"
hahahah so much hilarity, i think i have only just really come down from the madness of the events. Total stormer, and if the huddled talk around the campsite at the end hold any water then next year would actually be the most amazing year of all.
METALBREWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Steve was a wonder to behold. I must have told him my name about 20 times and each time it'd be like "aaaaahhhhh yes. Nice one", also the attempts at clearing up the site in the wee hours of the morning....

I'm a bit more alive now, so here is a big thank you indeed to everyone who supports and appreciates what we're doing. It was so amazing, I mean bloody hell. The terror and stress we all went through in the build up to the festival was so worth it. By far the best Metalbrew yet, in every single way, from the turn out to the line-up and the way everything ran so smoothly, it's just never been this good before (although every other year has still been fantastic), nor has it appeared this organised, even though we still left everything to the last minute! However, we still were left with a lot of things to think about for the future, so we'll have to do some serious talking about what we're going to do next year. But let's enjoy the glory of 2008 for now.
So once again, thank you, thank you, and once again thank you.
So once again, thank you, thank you, and once again thank you.

Holy guacamole, that was awesome! I genuinely enjoyed every band that played, even if I was sometimes listening rather than watching. (In fact, I spent a good deal of the first half of MB watching the crazy bikini-clad blonde as she danced around wielding a sledge-hammer )
The first few bands had a good audience but everything seemed to really kick off when Dr Death took the stage - brilliant stuff! I was really impressed with Dead Existence, would love to see them again sometime! Damnas and Mutant were storming and, although I'm not familiar with Pagan Altar or Cloven Hoof's stuff, they were great fun to watch.
Well done to the lovely boys who do an amazing job at organising Metalbrew - looking forward to te next one!

Yeah, who wasn't!
There was a definite happy vibe going around though, with the exception of the rumours of a little bar scrap - overall a really good summery mood with a great soundtrack!

Man alive. What a fucking day. Certainly my favourite year so far. The nice thing for me was having a professional staging and sound crew who really did an excellent job. It meant I had more time to wonder around and talk to people. Loads and loads of new faces this year whoo seemed to have been drawn in by the hoof/altar wonders.
Cheers to everyone who comes down and makes it such a special day. With the exception of one sciffle scuffle, the crowd vibe was bang on. Also cheers to anyone who bought me beer and gave me stuff to smoke on (especially Bill....). Lets hope we can live up to this one next year eh?
I'm finding a general witchy theme... I need music, oh yes I do... If you'll bring me a wooden cross cos someone is waiting to be crucified.

By the way, I think Stevedot needs a badge or something as a big well done. "I survived the brew" or something. I think he nearly made it through the night with some of my mates, but ended up being set on fire with a flaming mop. Can't believe you drove home though man, you were a state!

Shit. It annoys me when everyone's had a wicked time and I wasn't there. Hopefully I'll be there for the enjoyment next year.
