I've never been jumped or mugged and the last person who started on me did so because I mocked him and his people for the better part of three hours. To be fair, he was Faroese.

I don't know why the thread title makes any reference to "street justice", even if these sort of incidents don't result in death or serious injury, I don't see any "justice" in them.

It's a term I heard in American Dad and it came to mind when I was starting the thread.

If I were to be cruel-ish, I would say I really don't mind hearing about 'unprovoked' beatings on Goths. I actually think it's kind of funny. I'm not sure it's fair to say that a Goth could be beaten without provocation either. I might be missing the point spectacularly, but isn't dressing like a sex-crazed orca whale in public a bid to get provocation out of the general public?

If anyone plans to counter this by saying something along the lines of, 'But that's just how they dress'; I'm not buying it. No one would ever think of dressing like that unless they were looking to be noticed because people generally don't like making themselves look like complete cunts in public.

Well I'm sure they do it to get noticed by someone, I'm not sure they do it to get severe beatings though. I could be wrong.
