I just watched Death Proof, and I loved it. For no other reason than the brilliance of Kurt Russell. Everyone else in that film was annoying and ridiculous. And every time I thought, "This film is starting to drag on a bit, these people are pissing me off and the conversations are all rubbish", Kurt came in and saved the day. I was so disappointed with the ending, not because it was bad, it wasn't, but because, without spoiling anything, it obviously wasn't what I wanted to happen. But it did make me laugh. Bloody brilliant, well done Mr Tarantino, you have slightly redeemed yourself for disappointing me with the lack of storyline in Kill Bill Vol. 2. Now please make a real film again with good humorous conversations in it and less reliance on the action to make it good.
Now I'll have to watch Planet Terror very soon.
Kurt Russell is brilliant

Bilious cretins! It is only about The Thing and Big Trouble In Little China. Pliskin can sod off compared the majesty of those two.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

I just found it crushingly disappointing. I still enjoy it, when I watch it now I think it's quite nice, but at the time I hyped it up so much for myself because I expected the cliffhanger ending of Vol. 1 to lead to some brilliant twists and turns, but literally nothing happened. She killed Bill, and that was that. Bollocks. I was expecting so much more from the mastermind of Pulp Fiction.
And yes indeed and hooray for Big Trouble In Little China. One of the best films of all time, and a very important part of my childhood.

Err no thanks, she is well rough.
Yes Glen, The Thing is the best horror film ever made. But i don't even think we have to say it.
