Well done on that point John, it was a blinder.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

So i listened once more time and I don't really get what you guys are saying.. "trying to be thrash" that can be said about any band on this whole new wave of thrash. I heard the new Gama bomb and to tell you the truth they reminded me too much of the waste. Everyone around here where I'm from is taking that style and its pretty bland. I'm into zombies pizza's and beer but when everyone is talking about it it just kind of gets boring. What do you guys think about Warbringer? I listened to it over and over and now i see them be rather sloppy.. specially on drums.

Listening to the new Gama Bomb just made me realise why I don't like BBB. Both have upsetting drum sounds to my ears, but obviously the doesn't matter too much if the music is good enough. Now I may be completely wrong with this judgement, but to me it feels like BBB are just completely forcing their 'thrash-ness'. When I listen to Gama Bomb I hear a group of hilarious madmen who love such fun things as computer games and great movies and have a great time singing songs about them. Their true personality really comes across and it makes me feel lovely. When I listen to BBB I hear a group of guys trying to be 'thrash', and I don't feel anything unique about their personality. When you play this type of thrash, I think personality is hugely important, it's the only thing that makes a band unique when every other element is formulaic. I don't think BBB put enough of their personality across in their music, it's just bog standard riffs and the vocals sound so forced and ridiculous, which is why they irriate me. I can't be bothered to say any more, I need to go to work.

I'd say that is a fair point. I'm not a big fan of Gama Bomb at all, but at least they have it right off all the time. Bonded by Blood are far too boring.

Hearing BBB for the first time has just reminded me of the first time I heard King Diamond. Oh how I laughed, and I still am. Is there something I'm missing here? How can anyone like them vocals. They make Bruce Dickinson sound like that daft twat out of Mortician. Maybe it's just me and I'm being a stick in the mud. *Mark Corrigan moment,..over*
I remember a Nirvana tune, 'I Hate Myself and I Want to Die.' As much as I like Kurt Cobain. I can't have people like that coming over here, on smack, fucking saying that they hate themselves and they wanna die. That's fucking rubbish. Kids don't need to be hearing that non-sense.

You don't have a haircut? How's that then? Everyone has a haircut, even if it's a bad one.

I actually really like the vocals. I think its one of the best of the new wave of thrash. Coming from a guy thats 38 this means quite some bit. I tried listening to the other bands in this so called "movement" Merciless Death those are horrible vocals. I don't know what it is about BBB and all you guys I think the music is better than a lot of bands i've heard recently on this whole thrash movement. Everyone praises Evile and to me they sound very generic specially vocals wize. The kid sounds exactly like Tom Araya and yet he gets praised? at first it was a great nostalgic feeling and then I figured out why Tom Araya part 2. Dont get me started on Fueled By Fire if everything in your music has to say how thrash you are then you ain't worth listening to. Let the music do the talking.

All in all I think BBB is a very decent group and great for their age. Happy they are not talking about zombies beer and how thrash they are I'm glad theres people out there that see theres more to thrash than zombies and beer and killing posers. Me being from the original bay area scene I tip my hat off to them. Their name may be not so original.. but then again not a lot of my favorite bands have such original names Overkill took their name from Motorhead album,Machine Head from deep purple album Exciter from Judas Priest song so i dont mind the name really.
