But seriously, Tom, anyone, I don't know when this thing starts, don't know how the fuck to get there and don't finish work till 7pm tomorrow... so I doubt I'll be making it. :'(

I think it is just about possible I can get to Ealing Broadway for 7pm - if you are expecting to get to the station around then, I can meet you and we can get the bus.

Apparently doors are 7pm, but that's the best I can do...

When you get to Kingston you have to go to the bus station there, its opposite the train station and you get a bus from there to The Peel. The Peel is on the top of a hill next to loads of estates.

Right, I'm not even going to attempt writing a quest story for this gig, because I would be here all night!

I think it's unlikely that I will get there.

Right after scouring the internet i found a band's myspace that gives the directions to the Peel which were on the site when i booked my tickets:
Directions for The Peel :

By Car
The Peel is on the A2043 about five minutes out from Kingston twon centre towards New Malden. There is no parking for customers but there is ample parking on near-by streets.

By Public Transport from London

Tube

The nearest tube station is Wimbledon (District Line). From Wimbledon get the train (Platform 8) to Norbiton (see below) or get the 131 bus towards Kingston (Stop L).

Train

The nearest train station is Norbiton which is about 20 mins from Waterloo. There are trains every 15 minutes. Trains going to Strawberry Hill or Shepperton all call at Norbiton, they leave Waterloo from platforms 1-5. Exit Norbiton station onto Station Approach (the other side from the ticket office) and walk up Norbiton Avenue. At the top of Norbiton Avenue turn right onto Gloucester Road. At the end of Gloucester Road you should see The Peel on the opposite side of the road. The last train is at about 11.53 pm

Bus
The 131 bus which runs between Wimbledon and Kingston, it stops outside the venue. So does the N87 which runs between Kingston and Aldwych. Buses 57, 83 and 213 stop close to Norbiton station. Many more buses serve Kingston town centre from where the 131 towards Wimbledon is the best bet."

Wow, I don't think I've ever been to such a quality gig! All the bands were brilliant (although I didn't give the second band much of a chance) - my neck is ruined! The atmosphere was great, everyone seemed to be having an awesome time.
