I think i'll pass, but it is good to see these sort of gigs happening though.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Excellent live at Bloodstock, not the biggest fan on CD, but boy do they put on a good show... You should probably go to this tonight if you live near, and that's...

Well they were amazing. Really fucking good. I'd been told by someone in the crowd that they were amazing at bloodstock so I was expecting a good show and they totally delivered. Right from the first song there was a pit and I don't recall it stopping until the crowd stood dumbfounded as they started to play 'War Pigs' in the middle 'Fuck You'. I had a great time. Keltic Jihad were OK but I don't know them and they didn't seem to be very coherent.

Anyway, pics or it didn't happen: http://www.newmetalarmy.com/events/view/6

didnt see any opening bands, was drinking outside and met bobby hah we offered him a beer and he was like "nah man have a bar downstairs" then there were two hot chicks walking and we were like "dude" and he was like "yeah" and they walked past him ahahahha

Overall good stuff they were fucking sick live, cant stop watching live videos on youtube! The pit was a bit empty 10 people at most at times.

We sound like Paris!....

also got Verni's pick and my mate got the drum stick

The sound was really good I thought, you could hear everything without really need plugs. I don't why the sound at that venue is so variable - I wish all bands sounded so good.

They played mostly old (pre-Necroshine) stuff: Bastard Nation, Horrorscope, etc. They did open with Necroshine though and threw in a couple of more recent songs later in the gig. (To my shame I did accidentally shout "hammer slammer" at one point instead of "hammer head" :o ) The War Pigs singalong was very cool... transcontinental metal heritage I guess! Don't know if they do it all the gigs, or just in Sabbath's homeland.

They looked buff for a bunch of old dudes, perhaps their tour budget doesn't extend to pies. They must have had their own lighting, with mini-spots arranged in and around the equipment. The sickly Overkill yellow/green was perfect!

Nice to see a band who knows what they're doing, with stage presence. This was no lazy cash-in reunion tour, you could tell these guys do this for a living and aren't tired of it.
