The line-up this year is looking great, and it sounds like last year was excellent. Anyone tempted by this?

I reeeeaaaallllllly want to go again, last year was top notch, and hilariously german.
I know that there are a few of the truest and bestest london heads going, would be up for it (and would consider driving too - which would have been much better last year if we had a car) if there were a few others interested...
shall we just do it james and screw the consequences?

Re: Headbangers Open Air 2010 - 29th/30th July
ive done a few all dayers but have yet to sample the festival experience and if i do id love to go abroad somewhere in europe.
im well up for chipping in for some petrol and beers and will be reliable with payments and have plenty of cash readily available,so im not one to bail on people.
anyway,Jamie and James(and whoever else is interested),im definitely up for a european road trip adventure quest crusade thingy with some cool dudes.also i was looking at other various festivals online but this one has a more speed/rockin(rather than brutal)feel to it and looks like it could be highly enjoyable.so yeah itd be cool if it materialises, and judgeing by the fact youve been before and wanna go again, then it must be a sight to behold.

Ah, I wish i could've gone last year! And I wish I could go this year, but Glastonbury and other planned things means I have hardly any holiday left already from work, plus I really need to start saving up money now for various things that I need (including a bloody bass amp!!). Ne'ermind, another year!

it was a little out of the way and quite small last year, i have chosen a different German festival this year. Although you will see bands at HOA that you will NEVER see in the UK, the way festivals used to be! If your starting out on the festival circuit, its worth a go for sure.

Haha, no seriously, I actually have 3 days of holiday left now for the whole year after all the time I've booked of for May and June (you'll find out why soon, hopefully!)! Madness.

Rik if you go I would 100% be up for this!
I need to double check what this clashes with, as i am quite sure it clashes with...some other festival. Not sure which one tho, let me look into it!
But yea rik if you and someother people from UKTHRASH go i would be WELL up for this, i need to look at how much flights are tho

Yeah, would be ace to see you guys there again, but the above suggests a negative, or does it?
I/the Wiedenbrück-Crew have decided to go there again. Omen alone are worth to take the trip. Though, admittetly, "the trip" is somewhat cheaper/easier for us...
