It's fucking great. I felt pity, amusement, shame and pride for them all at the same time. It's like watching Bad News only real.

Bottom line though is despite all the mushy endning and hype, they are shit.

Yeah I mean I know they are doing all the festivals at the moment but are they back on a label or just enjoying the ride from the DVD?

They wont have made that much yet. They'll fade away again, just watch it. The last we will hear from them will probably be their follow up movie about their breif sucsess.

They played the Underworld a couple of weeks ago, I don't think it even sold out which is piss poor for a band with a DVD in the charts!

aint seen this yet... not sure what to expect but i do think anvil are amazing!

all about Forged in Fire!!! fucking classic album

also, i don't think Anvil really care about being successful because of the film, its great to see an actually good band getting a chance to play festivals and they seem to be enjoying it!

Havnt seen this yet, but after seein them live at the golden gods awards (which they were terrible ) and getting hold of the album metal on metal (which it turns out is also rubbish) I do wonder why they picked this band of all the other bands they could have chosen.... why couldn't they have picked a good band like Angel Witch or sometihng??!!
