Savage Messiah @ Scala 22nd May

It's a weird gig, playing at a club night. They are on at approx. midnight. Is anyone else going to this?

I'm going to Breed77/Susperia at the Islington Academy and then popping down to this.

It was a good gig, they played a lot of new material and a few from their first album. They are a great band. It was one of those gigs where NO one from UKThrash went so it would have been a good gig to flyer at.

To be honest I thought the new stuff was brilliant. It's pretty similar to Spitting Venom (which is good) but there were some really nice chugging bits which were really tight, slow and heavy.

The sound on the night was a bit shit but I recorded a lot of it and its good. I can't upload it as they asked me not to upload anything that's not released which is fair enough.

I'll be ordering the album as soon as I can.
