Marc Knopfler tonight
Yep, I'm off with me dad to see old Knopples at the Albert Hall tonight. I imagine it'll be pretty good, but I also imagine I might fall asleep. I can't imagine anyone here cares (apart from James), but I thought I'd let you all know anyway.

I once had to learn a Mark Knopfler song for a band and, yes, it did make me yawn. I've always meant to get into Dire Straits but can't really be ringed just now.

Well bloody hell, it was actually surprisingly amazing! I only knew 3 Dire Straits songs (Romeo & Juliet, Sultans of Swing and Brothers In Arms), but all the songs were great. There were even a couple of really epic moments, a word I never thought I'd use to describe a Knopfler show. But yes, it was epic! Brothers In Arms was amazing, absolutely ridiculous. I'm so glad I've seen that live, it was so bloody good. And Sultans was bloody great! Yes, bloody great indeed, I loved it. Lovely.

God, I need to start wearing my glasses more often. I mis-read Dire Straits as Dr. Dre...
