Dislikes everything about guitar apart from playing them?
I do. I love playing guitar but when it comes to talking about the different woods, the newest trems, the quickest fretboards, I can't stand it!
I can talk about guitars to some extent, for examle:
"That guitar looks cool! I wonder what it is?"
Or:
"Yes, this is an Ibanez, its quite good, yes about 350 quid"
But thats it really, other than that, I just like to play music upon them, anyone else?
Who else...

I know where you're coming from, but I'm in the 'I love the instrument, I find it really interesting so I know too much about it cos I'm a sad loser' club.
Just out of interest, why can't you stand technical talk?

I totally agree with Atom - I really hate technical talk, and I know almost nothing about guitars. I don't even know how to attach a string all neat and nice like they do in guitar shops.
The same goes for amp talk - I am clueless and I don't care.

I'm the opposite when it comes to the technical side of guitars; probably because I got thrown in at the deep end with a cheap Ibanez.
I draw the line at talking about woods and the thickness of necks but I know so many people who wouldn't be able to sort their guitar out without professional help and that's sad because there's very little that isn't easy to do. This goes especially for people that have Floyd Rose-equipped guitar but don't know how to restring, let alone set them up so that they actually work.
At the end of the day, if you treat your guitar well and set it up the way you like it it'll play and sound better and I doubt many people would mind that.

A mate of mine back in school actually said that once, and completely seriously, he'd only been playing about 6 months too. Needless to say the last time I saw him he liked drum and bass and seemed like a total cock.

I'm quite a guitar geek.
I don't know everything in the world about the different specifics of a guitar / amp but it's stuff that I like to know and find useful.
If I know about the guitar, it's easier to fix a problem with it!

I'm with Iain on this one
I'm going to
Tear your fuckin' eyes out,
Rip your fuckin' flesh off,
Beat you 'till you're just a fucking lifeless carcass,
Fuck you and your progress,
Watch me fucking regress,
You were made to take the fall,
Now you're nothing!!

I hate guitar maintenance. For some reason it takes me forever. Hence some of my guitars having the rusty strings.
Now just Nick
