the only resonable prices are at wetherspoons chain pubs. but the massive downside to that is poncy geezers aka chavs who are now old enough to drink and the r n b top 40 being played on full volume all evening.

it depends.our local one does but the 2 neighbouring ones dont.brighton one does.croydon one doesnt.cutty sark one doesnt.sheakespeares head in central london doesnt.i havent been to any others so....

the ones without music are full of older people and the atmosphere is duller.great for a quiet drink though.
the ones with music have all the younger people(as the shit music draws them out in abundance).

best one has to be shakespeares head in london where we have lovely meet ups.its got no music and just enough eye rcandy.perfect.and they sell "geezer meals" basicly anything(curry/burger etc) wiv a pint for around a fiver.

I thought it was part of their policy, so all the old gimmers can enjoy a pint of stout in peace with 1.60 fish and chips..

actually i noticed in 3 wetherspoons that most of the oldies dissappear by 8 ish then it livens up a bit with youngsters.

yeah id say same happens in most of the spoons ive been in too!
