Lynch Mob's first album is a total masterpiece. It's reminiscent of Sonic Temple by the Cult but with a greater emphasis on guitars.

When I was in Newcastle a year ago they had one of his actual guitars in a shop called Guitar Guitar. It was going for a good price, so I imagine it's still there. Was pretty sweet but they wouldn't let me play it.

Guitar Guitar is actually quite good. The guys in the Glasgow shop don't treat people with the same contempt their former-counterparts at Sound Control did. Thank Christ that chain is gone.

Haha, yeah man. Although, if you want snobby try the Oxford Guitar Gallery. A mate of mine had the comment "Make sure you can afford that before you touch it" upon picking up a guitar worth less than a grand. He dropped it and left. Sound Control I always found was the PC World of guitar shops. Like you want to work in a guitar shop but you don't really know anything about guitars, so go work at Sound Control. I should check their website for good deals...
