Yeah, plus where in Devon we're staying and in what way (e.g. camp, hostel...)

Hostel I suppose. There must loads of nice and cheap B&B's in Devon, it's the land of country and folk dreams!

With devon we could go to an "offical" campsite in which they would give us a space to rent and we just all bring tents...although we would have to check if we camp whether they would be ok with this many males that are under 24 would be allowed to stay...

Also summer is good but rember June=festivals and so does july sometimes! We could get a minibus down to devon or something

Devon sounds lovely.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Bloody hell, just realised how far West Devon is. I'm up for it, just thought it was a bit closer. I'd be happy to either hostel or camp, although I don't think it would be particularly successful us all being on a proper campsite with families all around and stuff, so maybe just find a hostel or a cheap YHA house down there...

I have indeed been to Sidmouth Folk Festival, a couple of years ago. It was brilliant, such a lovely time. That's not exactly where I meant though for us to go to, although that would be a great idea actually! I went to real Devon when I was about 7 years old, and I remember it being nice, that's more what I was thinking of.

It looks quite near to Tintagel, which is one of the best places I have ever been to!

Here are some hostels I have located in that rough area, but people who live down there and know the area could maybe come up with a better shortlist:

https://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodati ... index.aspx

https://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodati ... index.aspx

And loads more: https://www.yha.org.uk/find-accommodati ... index.aspx

~ ~

Alternatively we could look into renting a house for ourselves through YHA - the tricky thing here is most aren't available in Summer though; there are only two South West places and they're only available till Feb/March! I widened the search a bit, for example Wales:

http://www.escape-to.co.uk/view_property.php?id=35 (available till August)

Derbyshire: http://www.escape-to.co.uk/view_property.php?id=939 (18 beds)

The houses are obviously more expensive, but if there were 10 of us or more, it would only be around £150 each. But then again if we just wanted bog standard hostels we could probably get a week for a third of that, but we'd be with other people and there wouldn't be much to do at the place itself.

If some other people start looking, especially those who live in the proposed areas, we should be able to make a shortlist.
