And yeah, GP is wank... can't even keep up with slightly fast runs and what's up with the timings fucking up sometimes and that stupid tempo change crap! Another thing - the RSE sounds crap, I'd rather use Power Tab and have midi sounds!
Turn RSE off and use the midi sounds. Power Tab i find to be really bad. Ive been using Guitar Pro probably almost every day for 3 years. Im always doing something with it and i find it the most useful tool ever for writing songs, especially for drums.

last thrasher i think i learnt was Sadus - Good Ridn'z
really wana be able to play Arise by sadus but I aint got round to it yet.. the riffs are just so fast!
