Completely uninterested in supporting Anthrax in any way since their actions over the reunion thing. A total slap in the face for me as a long time fan.
I killed Reanimator.

I think it's interesting, but not brilliant. looking forward to hearing the new album.

Don't say it's interesting - it's either good or bad. It works with your brain or it doesn't. 'Interesting' shouldn't be used to describe music.

I've only ever heard Among The Living and Spreading The Disease, I've never actually heard any 'modern' Anthrax until now, and that was fucking terrible, even if it was only a clip. Good lord, what a shame, I never realised they had gotten this bad, considering how good they used to be.
That's the thing. I actually quite like 'modern' Anthrax too. They've not really put out a 'must-have' album since 1990, but they're put out 10-15 songs with John Bush that are superb.
Honestly, that new clip sounds worse than Soulfly.

I think interesting is an alright term, especially when dealing with a classic band bringing old new stuff. I did not think it was awful or brilliant (though closer to awful out of the two) but it was definitely intriguing/interesting - ie how is this going to develop?

Pretty much agree with this. Not bad to start and then very bad indeed.

Re: new anthrax clip
I thought this clip was unbelievably bad. It starts in a muddle with that clunky, token riff, then it goes rapidly overboard into that ludicrous screamy bit (where he sounds like he's making Trey Parker grumpy noises), and then leaves the road entirely in that out-of-key last part. Still, it's interesting to see so many people enjoyed it or find it curious. Shows how badly out of touch with what's going on I must be.
For my own part, this isn't a tenth of the band who delivered Among The Living. They should call themselves Vulture Widow or something and get on with entrenching their spiralling unpopularity in an honest fashion without using that band's name to shill crap music on thrash fans. They've fallen pretty far.
And relax.

Agreed.
Who the fuck is doing vocals for them because they're terrible. The first bit just sounds like a kid who is trying to play fast.

Just imagine, instead of chanting 'AMONG! AMONG! AMONG!' at future Anthrax gigs (*sniggers*), we'll be able to shout 'AN ONION! AN ONION! AN ONION! AN ONION!' .
Oh what fun!
