Moths aren't scary, how could anything so senseless be scary??

Spiders aren't scary either, despite their 8-legged alien-ness, though I probably would freak out if I woke up with one on my bed!

The only scary thing about insects in general is that one day their gargantuan atomic descendants will one day inherit the Earth. That and a Hitchcocks-style film that is yet to be made in which all the birds and moths in museums and so forth are resurrected from the dead and swarm our cities.
