Postby mattevile on Thu Jan 10, 2008 1:14 am

see it.

it's ridiculous.

and amazing.

If you're like me and stuff like day of the dead gets you excited like a 6yr old, watch Planet Terror. It's how films USED to be made. and SHOULD be made.

fuck I AM LEG END, fuck it in its big stupid arse.

^ I've rarely been put off a film so much by its trailer as I was by Shoot Em Up!

Death Proof was BALLS, apart from the car smash showing the car driving up that girls face. and kurt russell is a winner.

as much as i LOVE seeing people get shot (nothing beats robocop directors cut) seeing clive owen having a gunfight whilst sky diving instantly put me off shoot em up. and paul giamatti as a hitman?? naaaaaahhhhhh.

I'll check it out on dvd though when it comes out, guns are cool.

Why such negativisim towards Death Proof? It lacks action in comparison with planet terror but the depth is amazing, it's got something special like all Tarantino films as well.

Planet Terror is funny and amazing to be honest, it is better then death proof. The bike comedy scene amuses me everytime.

It just didn't click with me the way tarantinos stuff usually does, it felt like someone had half arsed a film in the style of tarantino instead of it being the man himself.

i fully got what he was going for with the whole grindhouse thing, but i just didn't like the characters he'd written.

the trailer for machete was ace though, apparently rodriguez might make it into a full film.....

Yeah, I heard they might make Thanksgiving into a full film as well. (It's the trailer where the girl is on a trampoline and bounces down onto a knife).

I liked Death Proof, especially the bit where that chicks leg got torn off, but Planet Terror was so so much better. It also had Sayid from Lost in it, which increases it's awesome.

That's what I thought about Kill Bill Vol. 2. I haven't seen any of the Grindhouse movies yet though, I really bloody want to.

Everyone should just watch the Elephant Man.

That's well good, mainly because Anthony Hopkins is so well hung that he needs to get custom undercrackers with extra cock space made for him.
