Five-a-side Football
Does anyone play Five-a-side or weekend football? My housemate and I are looking to putting a team together but all the leagues that organise games have either already begun or they're too competitive for us - we just want a bit of a piss about really. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm in Sheffield.

You tried Powerleague?
It's more of a 5 a side league, but if you get enough people they'll rent out the pitches for an extortionate fee (bout a fiver each for an hour)

Would that include indoor football? Me and Craig have joined in a few games back home, it's pretty fun.
The only five-a-side I've done is with my old club, very occasionally when there were one-off tournaments.

I looked at their website, but I'm not really into the idea of paying that much money for a game of football.

Yeah, indoor would be cool too - anything like that, really. We just want to be able to play a game of football every week.

Yeah, bollocks we should have a mini league. Even though i am hardly a fan of football it would be epic lulz.
Make is so.

Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

^ Pretty redundant post Boove, but then you do dislike Maiden.
Indoor and outdoor are both very good exercise; an hour of indoor is plenty for me!
Last time we played I set up a peach of a goal - bounced it off the wall to get round a defender, the rebound went right towards the tip of the D, where a team-mate slammed it in!

I'm so bad at running back to defend!
Actually, that was usually what I was moaned at for being midfielder in 11-a-side, but I think the arse-hole managers were under-estimating my heroic performance.

My brothers workplace (shopping centre) had a big league recently, his team (burger king) did not practice at all and had no kit.
Turned up and all these people where wearing proper team uniforms etc.
Basically they thrashed them all without trying. Pissed a lot of people off much to my amusement.
