I'm gonna have to unplug my modem here. I'm doing paperwork for my wifes business and so far, 3 hours into it I've done fuck all but talk about corned beef.

A truity here! I used to be the production manager in a large poultry processing buters, and we supplied iceland, asda, farm foods, safeways and morrisons. The company with the highest standards and most hard to achieve specification for the products we supplied was farm foods by quite a distance. And that really is true!!!
as for corned beef, yeah its nice, specially fried and served with red sauce, but it is predominantly from south america, and even though it has to be made to eec specs, i once had a tin in my butchers that when i was slicing it, contained an eyelid from a cow (obviously) complete with long lashes too
