I keep typing the quick reply then pressing 'post a reply' rather than send.
Doing my fruit in! It's not an admin fault though, it's a good idea, I'm a thick cunt.

Yeah it is the winner.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

The first time I did that,I was cursing the computer "Why aren't you working properly you stupid machine!"
Then I realised it was because I was a twat.

Re: Quick Reply?
I find it strange how since the major forum update, a quick reply post still takes you to those View Topic/Forum buttons, rather than just updating the thread you're viewing..

So it gives you exactly the same screen as you would normally get after writing a normal post? To me, that's normal, I can't really remember what happened with the old version.
I don't think it's something I can change though, all the quick reply does is tag a post reply form onto the end of the topic - anything after that is handled as if you've made a "normal" reply - the forum software itself doesn't know the difference.

Re: Quick Reply?
Yeah, on most forums (and I'm pretty sure this one before the change) the Quick Reply box sort of automatically refreshes the page with your post attached to the bottom, you don't have to go to that redirect screen.

Re: Quick Reply?
the redirect screen is awesome though surely???
either leave it a second or 2 to refresh the topic or click 'return to last forum'.... seems sensible to me!!!
