Greetings UKthrash patrons, Allow me to introduce myself I am Pove, I am a Nigerian Prince with a annoucement to make.

As you may know I have supported metal for many of a year,I've flown all over the world with bands selling tshirts,tuning guitars and stopping up all night in the more dodgy parts of the world guarding the van from would be thiefs.

I have been lucky enough to put some quality bands with Luke and Bill in my hometown of Birmingham, something I (we) are extremely proud of. Alas due to the support from the yokels and a decent venue being like gold dust in Brum my enthuastum wained to the point of no return. Whilst I still roadie I need that buzz I used to get from putting on shows. I had tinkered about releasing cds but due to cost factors and being one single man on the dole it does not sound feasible.

Then it came to me how about releasing cassette tapes? The more I thought about it the more I wanted to do it.

Over the recent months I have noticed a lot of bands releasing demo's/splits with the digital form being availiable to download. So you can still put the high quality release on your ipod/mp3 player and have a physical copy on your shelf/ car stereo,boom box if you will!

So I took the plunge a purchased a tape duplicator SONY CCP 2300.

I am pleased to say that Thurian Cataclysm is in effect.

First act of business will be releasing a lovely boi's album on cassette, then the reason for me posting on here is releasing a fabled "Bangers and Thrash 2" Cassette. So I would like some of you lovely boi's to be on it as we or the world, have'nt really had a update since Jamies excellent contribution about 4 years ago and lets face it ALOT has happened since then.

I plan to release a special edition cassette tape to a ltd number of 40 donating the cash raised to the MIKE RIP Fund, as well as a bog standard edition with a few suprises as well for general release

The whole project is more to provide a professional service for people who want to release a demo,album/ep with that retro feel or just something diffrent to sell for a bit off fun, customized to there needs (coloured tapes,cassette boxes,printed cassettes etc).

So dont expect releases from me to often but you never know I might bring out something nice, however that is no reason why I cant do all the hard work for you with a quick and professional turn around for you.
