Hahaha, I can't believe you tried to boil milk in a kettle!! That is absolutely wonderful.

I was actually discussing this yesterday coincidentally, cause I had some hot chocolate.
It's all about Cadbury's drinking chocolate, MILK ONLY!
and I do exactly what Tom described.

stick a cup of milk in the microwave, 2 mins full wattage, add the powder, 2 spoons, stir...with a whisk!! then add squirty cream and have a wank over the fantastic winter drink you just created!!!

also i remember trying to get toast out the toaster with what i thought was a wooden spoon thing, turned out it had metal on the end and i blew up the toaster, sparks everywhere...atleast i got to eat the toast but at what price....

Fantastic.

Squirty cream does go well with hot chocolate, but doesn't it go all weird and... Speptic...tanky looking after a while?

I love hot chocolate, I also just pop the milk in the microwave for a couple of minutes and just add the powder. I don't put much fancy stuff there, but I do love the tiny marshmallows.
