Have you got some sort of a super computer? The graphics on the PS3 are ahead of nearly all gaming computers at the moment, especially because the graphics are HD unlike PC graphics....

I'll probably get a Wii at first for the novelty factor and because its cheap but I do want a PS3 in the long run...


Technically nothing's HD if you don't have an HD TV to play it on :P

I'll just stick with my PC. 512Mb ATI X1600 Pro graphics card, 3Ghz dual-core processor and two 17" flat-screen monitors - I think that'll do me until the PS3 is at a reasonable enough price (or until I graduate and have enough cash to buy one - whichever's sooner :P).

Plus I couldn't stand owning something which has the same name as a bodily fluid - even if the spelling's different. Can you imagine saying to a mate "D'ya wanna have a go on my Wii". Seriously.

well i already have a 360 and i love it, i dnt see the point in gettiong a ps3 because the only advantage it has is better graphics but the online play isnt as good so if i do get another console it'll be a wii for its innovative gameplay, at least its different but at the mo i cant even afford games for my 360 :wall: so i doubt ill be buying anything else

The wii will have a smackdown type wrestling game no doubt. They're all the same these days, not like the classic No Mercy vs Smackdown battle.

360, for Dead Rising, Gears of War, Call of Duty 3, and the good online capabilities.

Don't like Ninendo, it's possible to do good gameplay AND graphics but they like to market their stuff as being gameplay over graphics... as an excuse for not moving with the times. They also like to employ loads of outdated gimmicks as 'revolutionary' new concepts, all of which get bored fast and are either impractical or don't work as well as advertised. Don't understand why Nintendo are so popular, they've been lacking since the SNES IMO.

PS3 is just too overpriced for me to even consider and it's only about the same as the 360 graphics wise, many of the titles that were announced for PS3 only but really piqued my interest (Assassin's Creed, GTA4, Mercenaries 2) have subsequently been announced for the 360, too.
