Stop being such a drama queen you big loser.

Well done Mazz for entering the world of UKThrash! Battlewitch will certainly be one of the highlights of the day. This really will be amazing.

Especially with my hot break-dancing and shit throwing.

I don't know of any hostels round the area or anything like that either! There're a few hotels dotted around here and there, especially in Golders Green, but I imagine they'll be quite pricey. We should build a Metalbrew Hotel.

Ok then, well I think me and Craig will aim to get the train back to Essex.

When does the festival finish?

Also - would it be possible to have some directions from Liverpool Street station? The map only seems to cover the nearby festival area.

I am now coming, but this lack of a place to stop is a bit of a worry.

Edit: All sorted now, Cheers Mike!
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.

Thank the Police coming straight from the underground...

Goodness me, I can't believe it. What a ridiculous day indeed! I can't even find the words to describe it. I'll just say this instead:

TALISMAN! TALISMAN! WE'RE COMING FOR YOU!

And also this:
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII AM MERLIN!

And this:
I'VE CREATED LIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIFE!

And one more thing:
Bloody fucking stupid cunting shitting weather! (Apologies for the obsceneties)

I feel like a dead and slightly emotional madman. Well done, thank you and hooray to everyone involved, especially Mutant and Battlewitch, who brought us much joy in the face of raining madness! And just thank you very much indeed to all the bands for coming down to play, and to all the people who came down to enjoy the day and support us! METAAAAAAAAAL!!

Wow, that was mad! My mouth tastes like death, my neck is fucked and my clothes all muddy, but still... It was amazing!

You organizers are legends for going through that and pulling off such a fantastic day. So many highlights! Where to start?

The mud wrestling, the various people falling over throughout the day, beer bonging Tenants Super, that guy who did wine, port, whiskey and beer in the bong, our sludge monster circle pit, Crowning Glory being so good all I could do was cry (), Evile's amazing stage invasion. Not to mention all the other great bands, friends and fuck ups that helped make that day so superb.

I'm glad I have experienced Metal Brew... And survived! Cheers for having us!

Man, that was totally awesome!
Well done to everyone who organised it, and to the bands, it all kicked ass!

Pretty glad I decided against challenging anyone to mud wrestling, don't think I would have been too popular on the journey home!

I have to agree with Tom and John, it was a bloody good day despite the fucking awful weather (and eventful journey home - more on that later). It was my first Metal Brew and I will definitely be back next year :D.

Highlights for me were Crowning Glory, Mutant and Battlewitch. Crowning Glory's Judas Priest medley was awesome, as was their cover of Dio's Holy Diver. Battlewitch were also bloody good, although they had to cut their set slightly short because of the rain. Mutant were utterly face-melting, there are no other words to describe it.

The downsides were the weather - which was complete shite - and the London Bus services - which are also complete shite. James & I ended up getting stranded at Liverpool Street for 6 hours after our bus from Mill Hill was over half an hour late. We had to wait outside from 1am til 4am when the station opened, then wait inside the station until 8am for the first train back to Witham. Fucking London transport  :wank: .

Apart from that, fucking great day guys. Looking forward to next year's!

A) You should of phoned me

B) We managed to have a car crash getting onto the M25 (though we are perfectly fine)

Second thoughts should forget A

What happened was me and Bill were around South Mimms services going onto the M25, pulled upto a junction behind this 4x4 we began to move off then she breaked immediatly and i then had to emergency stop but as we were close due to pulling off we hit the person in front due to the fucking stupid spare Tyre thing on the back of the car, if that wasn't there we would of been okay and just a bump. My bonnet got crumpled and front pannels pushed in and a headlight was smashed...she only got some paint scratching. Got out at the services and was told something like this had happened before and she said she was over the line and stopped sharply.

Satan has taken his toll for sure

Otherwise me and Bill had a really great time time highlights were Mutant, Evile, Olde Chrone, Crowning Glory and Battlewitch....cheers and hopefully see everyone soon!
