Yeah, this one's about the credit crunch and it's got Randy in it, so even if it's still rubbish it should be better than the last two.
Hold on, what do you mean April Fools Day? There's one this Wednesday isn't there?
EDIT: Yes, there is a new one this Wednesday.

Re: New South Park
I finally got round to watching The Coon, with rather low hopes after the comments here, but guys... I loved it! I was literally whooping with laughter every few minutes, it was such classic over-the-top Cartman. Yes it didn't have much depth or cleverness, but if you love Cartman then it was fantastic!
Loads of moments really made me laugh, and it's one I could easily watch again. "Get The Coon a Sprite, General Disarray!"
A bit of Wiki-ing just revealed a further facet of hilarity - the only other potential candidates Butters has assembled for The Coon's identity are two openly homosexual Jews!

Yeah, I watched them today, I enjoyed both of them. Not amazing, but such an improvment.

I watched How To Eat With Your Butt and Kenny Dies last night and almost had to cry myself to sleep thinking about how... damn fucking shite South Park has become.

Re: New South Park
Yay! A good episode! That was quite hilarious. The Sur La Table bit made me laugh. And good to see a bit of 'DEY TK OUR JERRRRRRBS!' in there too. Randy and Cartman were also pretty bloody amazing in this episode too. Yes indeed, well done, lovely.

Re: New South Park
Apart from the whining sound Cartman makes when they're playing with squirrels, the Wheel of Fortune bit was the best. All in all, a pretty good episode actually.

Re: New South Park
Yeah, pretty enjoyable - I didn't laugh as much as I did at The Coon though; I am finding these days that the best bits are always the lines of Cartman and Randy, whereas before it was more the ridiculous and clever plots. This one was a pretty funny set of analogies though, so getting better maybe.

Re: New South Park
To be honest, had the 'Credit Crunch' occurred seven or eight years ago, Trey Parker would have used it to write the best ever South Park episode. I just think he's lost it a bit and has forgotten why he used to be the most hilarious person on Earth by a country mile. Whilst the Credit Crunch was the subject of this week's episode, it was - like James said - Cartman and Randy's lines that were the funny bits.
