Dont really know what to say, the trailer looks pretty funny though.

I'm in two minds about this movie. On the one hand I'm a huge simpsons fan and a giant episode would be glorious but on the other hand the last few seasons have been very poor compared to the genius it used to be and the movie could be complete shite.

Doesn't look too bad, shame they done up the animation on it, i would've prefer the series style to the movie style

yeah, it would have been better if they made a film after like the 3rd series when the simpsons was in its prime.

The Simpsons was beyond excellent for around five year ('92 - '97). However, there literally have been no worthwhile episodes in the past 5 years. The Simpsons was set to take its place as the best animated comedy of all time but, seeing as it has now been shite for longer than it was good, that award is heading down to South Park.

South Park is one of the most intelligent, and socially-relevant TV programs to ever air.
It's absolutely amazing and is far more consistent that The Simpsons.

I don't think south park is particularly intelligent at all. All the messages are fucking obvious. I like south park but the simpsons in its prime completely rapes it.

They pick the flaws in the reasoning of half of middle-America and have been doing it for about 3 or 4 years.
The Simpsons hasn't delivered anything above Mongoose shite since that X-Files episode.
And that's the thing, 2/3 of The Simpsons is literally shite 2/3. 5 years of awesomeness doesn't make up for 10 years of shiteness, IMO.

While I think Southpark is more intelligent than it looks, it just isn't as funny.
The humour is less subtle and there is nothing hidden in the episodes, with the simpsons, you can watch the same epidsode more than once and see new funny things, or laugh at just stuff that will always make you laugh.
