It's a well-known fact that Rolf Harris invented thrash metal in 1963 on his Casio keyboard.

To be fair, not many bands are as good live as they were 33 years after they were first signed.

KISS invented everything that is great about life.

I dunno, I find that fairly commonplace. Have a read of Pitiful Reign's biography if you don't believe me.

*sigh* I knew somebody was going to ask

I've seen it thirty eight times (have my thirty ninth coming up this Friday). As I've (tried) to explain to James countless times, I go because it's Queen music as it was meant to be played: live. Plus I can get tickets for £20.

Another reason is that over the years (my first show was January 2003, so I've now been going for over 4 years) I've got to know the cast, so it's more like going to see extended family when I go. Sounds really pathetic and sad, but that's the way it is. Oh, and I also run http://www.wwry-london.co.uk.

That's still almost £800 you've spent on it! Freddy Mercury went to the same university as me and there is a cafe named after him....Freddies!
