Has raped my MSN of online people AND made the rest of the internet generally really quiet. I wouldn't give a shit, but I need to put off revising for my exam tomorrow evening that I haven't revised for yet because I find general decadence more appealing. Thank god this place is full of crusty old men who hate all those young whippersnapper bands :lol:

Anyone else suffering the effects of this faux metal fest?

I wish I was going as well really, but my university specifically puts my exams out of the two week period on download days because they don't like me.

My uni house is half empty because of it, and I kind of wish I was going just for the drinking and the laughs (and Iron Maiden and Slayer).

But then I realize that a weekend ticket would have been almost more expensive on its own than flying to Germany, spending a week in Berlin, including a weekend at another metal festival, and flying home again. Fuck that shit.

One almost wishes a plague would sweep through the festival site, afflicting only those who are there for bands like MCR and Linkin Park.

With such a high concentration of the fuckers in one place, it would pretty much cure the UK in one stroke.
