Early Gama Bomb shows

Postby origamikid on Sat Apr 17, 2010 9:15 pm

Hey guys,

just wondering if anyone on here went to many of the early Gama Bomb shows, like pre-Survival of the fastest or around that time? If so would you mind answering a few questions for me - writing an article for university and need some quotes from people from bands/community etc

If you can help post here!

Thanks
Josh

SoF did'nt come out til 2005, it was released on Witches Brew 2006.

As mentioned elsewhere Gama Bomb first show was in London, then we (Reanimator) put them on about 5 or 6 times? after at the Bristol Pear/Irish Centre in Birmingham with various bands. I have some flyers and some footage of an early show with Deceptor,Maybe Mutant? and GB in Birmingham but I have no idea where it is.

The first one I went to was at West One Four (Kensington) in 2006, I think SotF was out by then.

wicked, this is exactly what i need! I will get some questions together (will be like 2 or 3) and Pov if you have any idea where those tour posters/flyers are or even just online copies then that would be a massive help!

Here's an old Reanimator one:

Not bad for £4!!

I have the Kensington one somewhere as well, it was really cool with a mad scientist background image if I remember rightly.

Hey dude
Reanimator put Gama Bomb on 4 times in Birmingham 2007 - 2008. Nothing before SoTT came out sadly as we weren't clued up on them before then!
Flyers are on the photos section of our Myspace page if you want them: http://www.myspace.com/reanimator_metal_night
There's also a few pics from the July 07 show there.
Happy to answer any questions dude, although not sure how much help I can be. Glorious days indeed though!
I killed Reanimator.

I can't remember the first Gama Bomb one I went to... it might have been in 08. Mutant and Nebukadnezza supported at the Bar Monsta and there was about 20 people there.

I think the first time I saw Bama Gomb was with Exodus - the day before my 18th haha.

I saw them first in Birm at TMM, what a gig.
Gee.... I don't know about the rest of you guys, but lately the only things that truly motivate me are erections and bowel movements.
