If we're talking domestic cats, which we are here, then speciation has nothing to do with it at all. It is down to breeds, not species.

Sorry, just wanted to look clever there; back to the thread.

Pets are gay. Why spend money on pet food and all of that shite, when you can buy beer and CD's!

I like cats more. I bought my little sister a kitten for Christmas.

I'd say dogs as in general there is more meat on a dog should you need to eat it in an emergency situation.

You're all raging homos.

Dogs for me. No doubt. I don't mind cats as much as I used to since my current cat. He's alright as far as cats go. But nothing compares to a dog as a pet.

Nice!

I've always liked tabby cats for some reason.

Would this be an opportune moment to say something like:

Cats rule. Plus our house is small and there would be no room for a decent sized dog in it, so cats are this small house owner's pet of choice!

Haha, I have a cat [Topaz, I chose it when I was 9] but she is seriously the most evil creature on earth, she bites when she gets remotely pissed off [but it's got to the stage where that just make me want to annoy her more] She's got personality though, and I swear she just knows things... she scares me and that's why I love her - this is a good photo because she looks GIANT.

But this is me with my boyfriend's dogs [new puppy :D] and they are absolutely gorgeous, most affectionate creatures ever.

I couldn't possibly choose, I think I'd quite like to have one of each.

My dog is one of these:

But considerably more scruffy. Same colours though, except a white tail and less black on the arse. Also, he is bigger than any other Papillon we've seen.

He's a bit of a character.

Those types of dogs hate you!

Except this particular one, who is probably the most friendly most harmless dog in the bumfankjosclar
