Metallica's Mercyful Fate Medly

Postby Atom on Fri Jan 19, 2007 2:08 am

After listening to shit loads of Fate recently I stuck on Metallica's 11 min medly on Garage Inc and I thought it was fucking great, James should have tried to hit the high notes though...

Seriously even though its Newtallica (Newish Tallica) I think they definitely did those old tracks justice, they picked all the best parts but I think they should have added the first riff from Black Funeral, anyway enough of my jibberish.

Anyone else dig this epic track of old school meganess.

THE KING!

It probably is the best thing on the Garage Inc CD. The Discharge covers are WRONG. Has anyone heard Wolf's cover of A Dangerous Meeting. Now THAT is a cover.

Also I have know King Diamond or Mercyful Fate. Someone please educate me on the best way to sort out this god-awful state of affairs.

It is a very good medley. I didnt really get into Mercyful Fate until later, with the 9 album. I very underated albunm if you ask me. I do know that quite a few Mercyful fate fans acrross the world would agree with me.

I also got to see the band live at Big Day Out with Metallica headlining. Just a shame Fate were the first band to play on the small stage.
