I've been raping Grace a lot recently (the album, not a woman called Grace), and every time I listen to it, it gets more and more ridiculous. It's not just amazing, it's a superhuman feat of unbelievable. When I listen to moments like the climaves of Grace and Lover, You Should've Come Over, and the completely wonderful joy of Last Goodbye, I feel like Jeff has reached into my soul and made me feel so lovely.

An introduction to Grace is about the only thing I think i have to thank MTV2 for. They played the vids for Grace and Last Goodbye a lot about 6 years ago. It was one of those "why haven't I heard of this guy/band before" moments.

Aye, i think so. M2 was also responsible for getting me into the Deftones and all that pash at the time as well so the evil it has done far outweighs the good.

You can't blame the channel for that. I'm assuming you heard the riff to My Own Summer and thought that everything they did would be like that and so decided to buy something of theirs. I never really watch the music channels any more. I think MTV2 is mainly Indie these days, though.

Bring back Mullet Man and etcetera.

To be fair to the Deftones, Around The Fur and Adrenaline are ok albums. Everything after that was pretty shite though. Still doesn't excuse me buying P.O.D, Limp Bizkit and Korn. You are right, it is my own stupid fault. I am easily duped (see the New Metallica Album thread).

Back on topic...does anyone have the Live in Chicago DVD and is it worth buying?

I have the Grace tab book but I can't play any of it. Too many of those thumb over chords and my thumb is too stubby

I recently got the Live in Chicago DVD off ebay and watched it with some fellow boys last night, and it blew my mind. Fucking amazing, to the most beyond belief degree of ridiculousness. Jeff is on unbelievable form, his voice is ridiculous and his band are amazing. Definitely get it!

And now I have just received the Live a L'Olympia CD, which is also amazing. Dream Brother is unbelievable on this. And the humorous Kashmir bit is very humorous indeed.
