Who enjoys Jeff Buckley?
He's amazing, especially with the songs Lover You Should've Come Over, Forget Her, Eternal Life, Last Goodbye... Well, the whole Grace album actually. It's really bloody brilliant. Has anyone heard the other album with the extra tracks and demos and unfinished thingybobs? I would like to wonder whether or not it is good.

I like a bit of Jeff Buckley, never really got into him that much though.

Re: Who enjoys Jeff Buckley?
On the evening of May 29, 1997 Buckley's band arrived by plane with the intent to join him in his Memphis studio and work on the newly written material. That same evening Buckley went swimming in Wolf River Harbor,[91] a tributary of the Mississippi River, while wearing boots, all of his clothing, and singing the chorus of the song "Whole Lotta Love" by Led Zeppelin.[92] A roadie of Buckley's band, Keith Foti, remained ashore. After moving the radio and a guitar out of reach of the wake from a passing tugboat, Foti looked up to see that Buckley was gone. Despite a determined rescue effort that night, Buckley remained missing. On June 4, his body was spotted by a tourist on a riverboat and was brought ashore.[92]
That undermines his legacy somewhat. Why would anyone try to swim with boots on? Who even wears boots?! What a fag.

So wait...somehow he sank and drowned...yet after his lungs were full of water, making him heavier...he floated to the surface?...

If he was anything like a shark that may have been something to do with the oily bile produced in his liver being less - or more, I can't remember which - something (dense?) than water.
James will probably be able to work it out.

Those are my top 4 tunes!!! (Forget Her wasn't actually on Grace though )
I have literally EVERYTHING ever by Buckley, live bootlegs, demos, all the singles/eps, I used to be a little fanatical
I love the song 'What Will You Say' aswell, the various live versions are all awesome!!! Another couple that I really enjoy (even though he didn't write em) are the Sin-e 'Way Young Lovers Do', the radio show (? I think) version of 'Strange Fruit', and the Songs to no-one version of 'Satisfied Mind', such amazing songs and he plays them with total coviction and makes them his own!!!
Buckley is pretty win, very clever musician too!
ps, nice thread Jonny me ladd-o

Jeff was indeed shrime, most people only know him for Hallelujah though and everyone goes on about how they cried the first time they heard it...

Martin, you obviously don't know how I listen to Buckley, the trick is to get a drum machine that plays the *Fh-Ts-Fh-Ts-etc...* thrash beat perfectly in time, it makes every genre much better I find
