The front cover is total bonestorm, music sounds like how MD always sound.

i havent listented to the music properly yet but that cover art is textbook

From the quick listen I've had it's very much like the first album, which is fine by me although I'd like at least some progression if possible. Fancy someone leaking a link sent to the press, the swines!

The intro is good so far!!! Sounds very nice except the really shitty bit rate...

OK the song has started now.... a bit faster than other MD but it sounds the same... Verse/main riff = Black Magic?? Vocals are kinda bad aswell.... OK skipped that track, second song sounds promising!! Damn the verses... this one is pretty radiquate, but again the vocals are just the same and that guys voice isn't the best... cool slow riff now, nice nice... right enough of that I wana play guitar!!!

So far it sounds cool, and some bits were unexpected and good, but again there is no variation on the lyrics (timings/delivery), and they seem to be playing that riff on this album aswell..... Cover art is really amazing though, doesn't look like a Repka, does anyone know who did it??

As I posted on TU: Doesn't sound bad if you like that one riff they use for every song.

Apparently Dan the guitarist told a dude from Head On Collision that "the new one is gonna be a progression like Slayer going from Show No Mercy to Hell Awaits." Yyyyyeah, looks like they were trying to fight the "this is the same album" thing even before it came out.

It sounds good, I'd defintally give the album a few listens but I agree on it being the same old.

It old melded into one from me, I swear the vocals don't sound as annoyingly nasally now though...

Evil In the Night was the second most boring 'new' thrash release I've heard. Nice artwork on the new album though.

It belongs to a band who post on here, so I'm keeping that to myself, ha ha.
Back to Merciless Death, I'm giving their stuff another spin and it's just not engaging me. The vocals do sound better on the newer stuff though.

Given this a few proper listens as I have a promo and although it has the Merciless Death stamp, there is more variety to the riffs and structures than the debut, so a big thumbs up from me!
