Hahaha! I wanted to hate this, but as soon as I heard that main riff in I've Met Jesus, I couldn't help but smile with joy. Haha, this is a great song. I'm going to listen to the other tracks now, I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy this band!

Re: Hotleg
So far I've heard Queen (Trojan Guitar), AC/DC (all of them mostly, but definitely there's a bit of Riff Raff in Heroes), more Queen (Cupboard Love), and plenty of smatterings of Def Leppard-style hilarious rock across all tracks. Haha, I like this. Don't know if I'll buy it, but it sounds like good old hilarious rocking fun. Actually, I might buy it. It comes out on my birthday!

I really like the artwork too. So think might end up on my CD shelf or the vinyl stash.

Re: Hotleg
My opinion is the same as The Darkness - it's passable hard rock, but they're just rehashing the sound of better bands. Not saying it doesn't have some enjoyment value though.

It is rehashing (or 'paying homage' if you want to be kinder about it) 80s cheese hilarious, but I think Hot leg are doing it a lot better than the Darkness did it. Saying that, there were actually some good songs on the first Darkness album. But somehow Hot Leg seems a lot more geniune. It's still hilarious, and obviously it's nothing musically groundbreaking, but that's a pointless criticism because it's trying to be anything but!

I do like what I hear here. Indeed.
Cheesy as fuck.
I liked some of The Darkness's tracks too.
